i knew it was only a matter of time before a girl reported the mandatory soliciting that is part of my job as being inappropriate and invasive. i’ve been telling everybody for a year and a half now that creeping up on teenagers to get contacts while “canvassing” only contributes to our negative reputation. now i’m in big trouble for doing exactly what i was told. whatever, my job ends on friday and this is only further proof that despite the benefits / decent pay there is no way i could continue here. the only question now is if i should out myself as a militant lesbian who stands in solidarity with palestinians during my exit interview.
